The Journey
Penah did not begin with a lamp. It began with a way of seeing, gathered over years.

First
Restoration
She began in the restoration of old buildings, learning first to read the memory a material holds before giving it a new form.
Then
Interior architecture
She trained across interior architecture and architecture, learning to compose space, proportion and light as one.
For years
At the bench
More than fifteen years in practice, and the same absence felt in every lighting showroom: a missing spirit, the trace of a hand.
Later
A return to the academy
She returned to teaching, where she lectures today, to pass on that craft was never old-fashioned, only timeless.
Now
Penah
The natural extension of that accumulation: an atelier where silk, steel and light meet one at a time, and hands that have never met come together in a single light.
Design, for me, is not only an aesthetic pursuit. It is an ethical responsibility.
We do not mass-produce. We tell stories with light. I want our making to touch, with respect, the life of everyone whose labour shaped a piece, whether they knew it or not.
